2025 Nairobi Geo Security Forum

The 2025 Nairobi Geosecurity Forum is the second thematic event of the Kenya Foreign Policy Research and Dialogue Initiative. This half-day workshop, which is scheduled for Thursday, 24th July 2025, aims to facilitate informed discussions on the evolving geosecurity landscape and its implications for Kenya’s foreign policy. The workshop will explore critical issues such as evolving conflict dynamics, national security threats, and worsening regional instability amid a volatile global environment. Participants, who include policymakers, diplomats, scholars, think tanks and media representatives, will explore how Kenya’s security establishment can navigate the complex geosecurity challenges to safeguard national security and enhance stability.
